Multivehicle crash blocks part of New Jersey Turnpike
A multivehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill on Wednesday morning has slowed traffic in the northbound lanes.
Major delays are expected, and New Jersey State Police urge motorists to seek alternate routes.
The accident happened about 8 a.m. near Exit 3 and involves a tractor-trailer and a tanker truck, CBS Philly reported. One lane was blocked as a result of the crash, which left at least one vehicle, the tanker, overturned in a ditch on the side of the highway.
The initial collision reportedly caused several others in the area.
At least one person was seriously hurt, according to the report.
