Woman shot during dispute between boyfriend, his brother in Kensington
A 22-year-old woman is in stable condition after she was shot several times in Kensington following a fight between two brothers, one of whom is her boyfriend.
The incident began as a fistfight between the two men about 11 p.m., NBC10 reported. The 22-year-old victim was shot when the older brother tracked his younger brother to her home, on the 200 block of East Tioga Street.
Philadelphia police believe the 33-year-old man tried to shoot his 28-year-old brother but missed, instead striking the 22-year-old woman three times. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
The alleged shooter, a recent parolee, fled the scene on foot. There was no word on an arrest.
