The charity set up to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings is getting help from song that’s found renewed popularity by being played at Fenway Park.

Singer Neil Diamond tweeted Wednesday that he will donate the royalties from new sales of his song “Sweet Caroline” to the One Fund Boston.

Neilsen, the company that provides television viewer and other entertainment measurements, said sales of Diamond’s song are up 597 percent and have sold about 19,000 copies since the bombings.

“Sweet Caroline” has become a staple at Fenway Park for about a decade as it’s played in the middle of the eighth inning during every Red Sox game.

Diamond made a special apperance at Fenway Park Saturday to lead a sing-along of the song with fans as many people from Greater Boston tried to heal from the blasts and manhunt that ended with four people killed and a community in fear.

As a show of support for Boston, many other sports arenas have played Diamond’s song.
