VIDEO: Woman kicked off flight for singing Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’
Apparently, she will always love youuuuuuuu.
But that wasn’t enough to prevent a female passenger from being taken off a New York-bound flight from Los Angeles for refusing to stop belting out the Whitney Houston hit “I Will Always Love You.”
The flight diverted to Kansas City, where cops removed the disruptive passenger — who, as this video shows, continued to sing the song as she was led away in handcuffs.
Joe McBride, a spokesman for Kansas City airport, told local TV that an air marshal was aboard the flight. He handcuffed the woman before the plane diverted. She was arrested for interfering with the flight crew.
Crew on the American Airlines flight ordered passengers to stop taking photos of the incident, but the video was placed on the internet this morning.
The woman passenger was later interviewed and released without charge.
It’s not the first time the song, released by the late singer in 1992, has annoyed people who are forced to listen to it.
Those who tried to perform it occasionally fail spectacularly, too. (Warning: contains the odd naughty word.)
