Letter: A picture worth a thousand cringes
Re: ‘One shot you won’t regret the next day’ (Metro, Oct. 7)
Having just read the latest issue of Metro, I was amazed at the photo you used in the article encouraging flu shots. If you really want to encourage these shots, why would you use a picture of medical personnel using a HUGE SYRINGE and HUGE NEEDLE?
I don’t know about anyone else, but I certainly wouldn’t want someone coming near my arm with that! It would have been much more realistic, but not shocking, to have the model holding a smaller syringe with a reasonable needle. Just a thought.
