Letter: It’s a good time for a third party
Re: ‘Most youth unhappy with Obama’s job performance’ (Metro, Dec. 5)
Young Americans do have another choice, and that is forming a third party. I don’t think either party is a desirable alternative over the other at this point in history.
I voted for Obama because he promised to end business as usual — all rhetoric, little action. Wall Street criminals have not been charged, there are illegal assassinations with drones, Guantanamo is still open, the disparity in income is much greater, there is no single-payer health plan and the same advisers are recycled from the former administration.
Time to think out of the box!
