Letter: The staff of office is a heavy burden
Re: ‘Jersey justice’ (Metro, Jan. 23)
There are staff — and staff. When you manage McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts, you cannot monitor how every member of your staff is dealing with customers or what he is pouring in customer’s cup. The office of an elected governor is not a store. “Laissez-faire” is a style of leadership; but is it good for someone who want to go to the White House? Do you think that New Jersey’s lieutenant governor is also an uncontrollable member of staff?
