Re: ‘Obama shows plan to fix nation’s crumbling infrastructure’ (Metro, Feb. 27)
Trying to stay relevant, President Obama put out a plan to spend $302 billion to fix the nation’s crumbling roads and bridges.
Congress (both Democrats and Republicans) says there is little chance of that happening because it relies on tax reform for funding. Didn’t we already spend $850 billion for infrastructure — called a “stimulus package,” in 2009? Where did that money go, Mr. President?
