Another city's police department is warning Boston about a non-specific threat, reports said.

The New York Police Department informed Boston Police that it received an anonymous 911 call Monday morning that made reference to threats to Boston, according to media reports.

Though the BPD and FBI have investigated the threats, they said that since they are not specific, the agencies are questioning their credibility, My Fox Boston reported.

BPD is remaining vigilant with patrols throughout Boston and, as always, maintains increased visibility and presence at all large public gatherings and venues, WCVB said.
