You can now enjoy fondue fireside at the Harbor Hotel

If you wanted to go al fresco, but all that snow has been cramping your vibe, theBoston Harbor Hotelhas a happy medium for you to get your fix of fresh-air drinking. While the Envoy boaststhose swanky new rooftop igloos, the Seaport hotel has debuted the Fireside Lounge, an outdoor fire pit-focused concept that serves fondue and “winter bites” for the most hygge experience you can have outside your own home.

Guests can imbibe on specialty hot cocktails like the Lumberjack (bourbon, maple demerara and black walnut bitters) and the Big Red (Hennessy with hot cider, made extra spicy) while dunking into cheese or chocolate fondue, warmed in ceramic pots on griddles over the fire. S’mores with house-made graham crackers and Valrhona dark chocolate bars are also available for purchase, but we’re going with alllll the cheese (and cremini mushrooms and creamer potatoes) for this one.

The six firepits are first-come, first-served but are open to the public from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily
