Get your sharpies ready, kids; your summer calendar is about to get marked up. The ICA Boston released their list of First Friday parties for the spring and summer seasons, and they have us dreaming of balmy nights of dancing and drinking by the water.

Kicking off June 3, the museum will celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month with a Caribbean Dream-themed night with traditional Carnival costumes, fashion and performances. July 1 follows with Summer in the City, with backyard games, barbecue and live tunes. And on August 4, the museum’s annual White Hot waterfront party heats up.

Each after-hours event typically takes over the museum’s harbor side patio space and select interiors, giving guests the opportunity to take advantage of both an emptier-than-usual gallery visit and waterfront views with a cash bar. First Fridays are free for ICA members, and $15 for everyone else.
