Boston Police are investigating a broad daylight shooting in Dorchester.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near Bowdoin and Norton Street at about 4:50 p.m..
Initial reports say that the victim was shot in lower torso and the leg.
Traffic is shut down in the area due to the investigation.
