PHOTOS: Who was Baby Doe’s mother Rachelle Bond?

Boston’s Baby Doe was identified as Bella Bond Friday after her mother, Rachelle Bond, was arrested along with her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy.

Many of the photos posted on Rachelle Bond’s Facebook page convey a mother who was proud of her beloved daughter; pictures of birthdays and holidays, photos of the pair cooking dinner together and cuddling on the couch.

In one post, the child is seen wearing a onesie pajama suit. Her mother wrote, “Love her to death. I am on top of the world because of her. My life is complete again and worth living. (I’d) give her the world and more if I can.”

But on Friday, investigators said Bond would be charged as an accessory to murder in the child’s death.

Bella Bond’s body was disovered on the shore of Deer Island in June, wrapped in a garbage bag. Her boyfriend, McCarthy, will be charged with murder.
