A fire in Plymouth killed one man early this morning, the state fire marshal’s office has confirmed.
The blaze occurred at a Sousso Lane multi-unit building, according to that office. The identity of the victim has not been released.
A cause has not been determined, although a spokeswoman for the fire marshal’s office says investigators think the fire was started accidentally. It was unclear how much damage the fire caused.
This marks the 17th fire-related death in the state this year.
