A 25-year old Dorchester woman has been arrested and will be charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of a man on just after midnight on Tuesday, according the Suffolk DistrictAttorney’s Office.

Police were called to a stabbing scene on Nightingale Street in Dorchester around 12:30 a.m.

Valerie Cirilo-Perez was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly stabbing 28-year-old Anthony Sinclair, prosecutors said. Sinclair was taken to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Cirilo-Perez and and Sinclair were “intimate partners,” investigators said. She was expected to be charged with murder and will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
