Authorities have pulled a man from the Charles River after he jumped from a footbridge on Tuesday morning.
Around 7 a.m., the man allegedly jumped from the Weeks Footbridge in Cambridge, a witness told WCVB. RELATED:Officials search Boston Harbor and Charles River for missing 22-year-old State police said that a search was commenced when the man did not resurface, WCVB added.
Cambridge firefighters, a marine unit and divers were all part of the rescue effort near Harvard University, Boston.com stated. The recovered man was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to Boston.com.
