East Boston man wanted for shooting two in Maverick T Station: Police

The MBTA Police are looking for the man they beleive opened fire in the Maverick Square T stop earlier this month.

Rogelio Alvarado, 21, of East Boston, is wanted for armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and multiple firearm violations.

The attack came around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, when a man fired several shots inside the Maverick train station following an argument, police said.

The victims were described as two men, a 29-year-old inside the train car and a 43-year-old on the subway station’s platform. Their injuries were non-life threatening, MBTA Transit PD spokesman Lt. Richard Sullivan told reporters.
