Quincy man charged with heroin distribution

A Quincy man chose to light up a cigarette in a T station Wednesday and ended up facing heroin trafficking charges, according to the MBTA Police.

Police said David Arrufat, 26, was smoking in the Andrew Square T stop and was stopped by authorities.

After running his name, officials determined that there was a warrant out for Arrufat’s arrest for trafficking heroin out of the Boston Municipal Courts Central Division.
