Red Sox hurler Rick Porcello was named the 2016 American League Cy Young Award winner by Major League Baseball on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old righty had a breakout year with the Sox this past season as he earned a whopping 22 wins and finished with a 22-4 record. Porcello had a 3.15 ERA, struck out 189 batters and finished with a 1.01 WHIP.
