A Saugus mother pleaded guilty on Monday to raping two boys and sharing nude photographs of herself with them in 2014, according to the Essex District Attorney's office.
Heather Salines, 40, was sentenced to four years in state prison followed by three years of probation, during which she must be monitored by a GPS bracelet, have no contact with the victims, have no unsupervised contact with children under 16 years old and register as a sex offender. The charges she pleaded guilty included two counts of child rape, two counts of child enticement, two counts of dissemination of obscene matter to a minor and one count of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years or older.
Salines accosted one of the victims, who was 14 at the time, while he was a guest in her home in February 2014, according to the DA's office. She called him into her bedroom, removed her bra and began to kiss and fondle him.
She repeatedly asked to perform oral sex on him and after he left her home Salines bombarded him with text messaged which included naked photographs of herself, officials said. The victim did not respond to the texts or return to her home.
Salines then began to exchange text messages, including nude photographs of herself, with another victim who was 15 at the time in March 2014, officials said. She engaged in oral sex and intercourse with this victim twice, including once at a hotel where the two took a selfie in bed together, according to the DA's office.
Police were alerted after officials at the Belmonte Middle School learned of the explicit images on the victim's phone.
“These actions are beyond despicable,” said DA Jonathan Blodgett in a statement. “This defendant took advantage of her position as a trusted adult and betrayed that trust in a most vile way.”
