Authorities arrested a man on allegations he touched a 13-year-old girl on an MBTA bus headed to Kendall Square.
Around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, an MBTA transit officer responded to the Kendall Square station to investigate a possible assault, authorities reported. The mother of a 13-year-old girl riding on a bus to Kendall Square told the officer that her daughter had been indecently touched aboard the bus. RELATED:BPD seeks suspect in two indecent assaults in Dorchester The 13-year-old’s mother also explained that the alleged perpetrator had just entered the Kendall Square station, officials stated. The MBTA officer went to the platform area and located the man, Yunior Mayorga-Galvez, 21, of Somverville, who was identified by witnesses. Mayorga-Galvez was taken into custody on the platform and moved to Transit Police HQ for booking on a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person under age 14, according to authorities.
