An iconic Boston diner was robbed by an armed suspect early Tuesday morning.

Boston Police told Boston.com that the South Street Diner, first opened in 1947, was targeted just after 6 a.m.

Authorities did not indicate how much money was stolen, or what weapon was used in the attack. No one was injured.

No suspect information was available.

Police continue to investigate.
