The Eagles focused on special teams Wednesday, signing two impact players who are known for their contributions on kickoffs, punts and field goals.

Philly inked Chris Maragos and Bryan Braman to deals on the second day of NFL free agency.

Technically a safety, Maragos joins Philadelphia from the Super Bowl champion Seahawks with a three-year $4 million contract.

According to a league source, the Birds outbid the Redskins for the 27-year-old hard hitter.

In his career, Maragos has played in 43 NFL games, including all 16 last season where he also played on 53 defensive snaps.

His signing likely spells the end of the road for Kurt Coleman and Colt Anderson with Philadelphia.

Braman comes to the Eagles from the Texans boasting size, he is 6-foot-5 and 241 pounds, and has the potential to fill in at a linebacker spot. His deal is worth $3.15 million over two years with $1 million guaranteed.

The Eagles still have a few areas to address with regards to free agent acquisitions. The Buccaneers officially let go of cornerback Darrelle Revis and ESPN reports that the Eagles are one of a handful of interested parties.
