A Providence, Rhode Island man is expected to be arraigned Wednesday for trafficking heroin after a police stop on Interstate 95 South in Sharon yielded four kilograms of the drug Tuesday night.

State Police say a 2008 Dodge Caliber driven by Alex Cintron, 29, was pulled over near Exit 8 on the highway around 7:15 p.m. after he failed to stay within marked lanes.

Trooper Adrian Webb-Johnson eventually searched the car and found four kilograms of a substance authorities believe is heroin. Cintron was arrested, booked at the State Police barracks in Foxborough, where he was held overnight on $250,000 bail. He faces one charge of trafficking in heroin and one marked lanes violation, police said.
