The W Hotel Boston threw a party Thursday evening across multiple floors of their newly redesigned space to celebrate the launch of WOW suites, each designed to honor a legendary Boston rebel. The rooms — each pegged to a local who once shook things up, from Edgar Allan Poe to Aeroesmith’s Steven Tyler — featured multi-sensory cocktail and snack experiences, including a gothic tea party with boozy cups of tea and a candy lounge featuring handmade lollipops shaped a fire flickers. The night continued in the hotel’s gallery space, where guests could tat up (temporary, of course) and check out a live performance by Atlanta duo Larkin Poe. All photos by Derek Kouyoumjian.
