This is not the first instance to be reported in the Mayhew/Boston Street area. A woman said she was assaulted last week near Boston and Mayhew streets around 3 a.m. Saturday by a man who approached her from behind, police said Wednesday. The suspect then fled on foot down Mayhew Street back toward Boston Street, police said.

The description of the suspect matched the one the woman gave on Wednesday.
