Transit police seeking trio in Charlestown assault

Transit police are looking for three people, including a shirtless man walking a dog, in connection to an apparent assault near the Sullivan T station in Charlestown.

Transit Police offered few details about the alleged assault on Wednesday, saying only that it happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. The three people were “persons of interest,” not suspects.

Spokesperson Lt. Richard Sullivan told Metro the department could not elaborate.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Transit Police’s Criminal Investigations Unit by calling 617-222-1050 texting an anonymous line at 873873 or using the anonymous feature of the MBTA’sSeeSay app.
