Two people are dead after a shooting in Worcester Thursday night, WCVB reported. The incident occurred inside an apartment building at 8 Forbes St. around 7:40 p.m. When police arrived, they found two bodies.

The other victim, a 28-year-old man, was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead,” WHDH reported. Witnesses told investigators they saw two hooded figures running away from the apartment after the shooting.
The homeowner, Silvio Hernandez, whose son lives on the first floor of the building, told reporters his son heard six gunshots.

“He grabbed the kids and went into the master bedroom and put the kids inside,” Hernandez said.
Police are currently investigating the incident but reportedly have “limited leads” on a suspect.
