Two men have reportedly been taken into custody after leading officers on a high speed chase in Woburn Wednesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police said they were in pursuit of a “wanted suspect” on Interstate 93, before the chase moved to local streets and ended in the parking lot of the Woburn Racquet Club on Webster Street, WBZ reported. Two nearby Burlington schools, Marshall Simonds Middle School and Memorial Elementary School, were placed on lockdown during the police activity, according to WHDH. The two suspects face charges of failure to stop for police and other motor vehicle offenses, WBZ reported. Additionally, one of the suspects was wanted in connection to a murder case.
