Three individuals are recovering from injuries after two separate shootings occurred Wednesday afternoon in Boston, according to police.
The first shooting took place at 3:47 p.m. near the Bromley-Heath Public Housing Development at 277 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain, cops said.
RELATED:Shooting occurs hours after community peace meeting According to a report published in the Boston Globe, the victims — described to be in their 30s and 40s — were found inside a building with gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder. They were taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Later that same day at about 6:20 p.m., another person was shot near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Tremont Street in the South End, police said.The individual was taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. There is no suspect description yet for either incident and the investigation is still ongoing, according to police.
