Get your soccer spirit pumped up, Boston.

Mayor Marty Walsh and the Boston Breakers, the city’s professional women’s soccer team, will host a free viewing party at City HallMonday night at 8 p.m. to cheer on the USA team as they take on Colombia in round 16 of the Women’s World Cup.

Walsh expressed his eagerness for the party even though he says unfortunately he cannot attend.

“I hope everyone has the chance to join us this evening at the viewing party for the US Women’s Soccer team, co-hosted by the Boston Breakers. Go USA!”

Goal keeper Alyssa Naeher, will be representing the city of Boston and the Breakers.

Walsh says he looks forward to bringing the people of Boston together, enlivening outdoor space and providing the community an opportunity to cheer on Team USA. Walsh did host viewing parties last year for Boston sports enthusiasts and both were a success.

Anyone is welcome to attend tonight’s event.
