A man from Weymouth has been charged with killing his estranged wife in her home, WHDH reported. Police arrived at the crime scene at2 Holmes St. in Norton after receiving a call around 7:25 p.m. that a woman had been stabbed.

Two children, who investigators say belonged to the couple, were removed from the home.
Shortly after the 911 call, police received another call reporting atwo-car crash on Interstate 495 outside of Norton.

Martin McDonald was formally charged with the death of his wife on Wednesday and is due in court on Thursday.
