WWE, Vince McMahon still don’t acknowledge Donald Trump

The WWE has been incredibly shy when it comes to speaking out about Donald Trump, a man that hosted two of the company’s biggest events ever (WrestleManiaIV and V at Trump Plaza) and was involved in a WrestleMania main event. Trump was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 (see video above).

WWE has always beenquick to re-align itself with people who went on to bigger and better things than pro wrestling (think The Rock, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura, and Jonathan Coachman to name a few) – so it’s quite curious that the company has distanced itself from Trump – a man who just became the next President of the United States.

There was no reference to Trump’s unprecedented election victory on the WWE.com homepageWednesday – the day after the election – and there was no mention of Trump on the Twitter accounts of Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon or Shane McMahon.

Linda McMahon was the only member of the McMahon family to express delight when it came to Trump’s win.
