It’s the best time of year for theater-lovers — especially those of us who can’t quite afford the price tags on the hot Broadway shows we covet. That’s right: Broadway Week is back, with two-for-one deals on 21 of the plays dotting the Great White Way.
And it’s not just the amazing musicals that are already open, like “Aladdin,” “Kinky Boots” and “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” — you can also buy tickets to some of the fall’s newest plays that are now in previews, like “You Can’t Take It With You” (starring Rose Byrne and featuring James Earl Jones) or “This Is Our Youth” with Michael Cera. Most of the shows offer seating upgrades for an extra $20, but a few shows (like “Cabaret”) are already selling out both standard and upgraded tickets.
