Over 11 days, the River to River Festival will present the work of more than 90 artists beginning today through June 29. A production of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the festival intends to inspire residents, workers and visitors in the neighborhoods south of Chambers Street by connecting them to the creative process of making art and exploring unique spaces.
Performances will take place in downtown’swaterfronts, parks, plazas, hotels, historic landmarks, temporarily vacant office spaces and other sites.

Ex-Situ Series: Claire Chase & Svet Stoyanov

Flutist Claire Chase and Bulgarian percussionist Svet Stoyanov collaborate on a new duet called “Alone” by composer Marcos Balter. The piece is a musical drama based on a poem by Edgar Allan Poe.
