Angelina Jolie admits that on the set of “Maleficent,” she had the tendency to terrify children while in costume as the “Sleeping Beauty” baddie.
“These little kids would visit the set and I would think, ‘Oh, I am a Disney character,’ so I would go over them and say, ‘Hi there!’ They would just scream,” she said while introducing footage from the film at Disney’s D23 Expo over the weekend.
“One little kid even said, ‘Mommy, please make the mean witch stop talking to me.” There was one little kid who wasn’t fazed by Jolie’s appearance: her daughter, who also has a part in the film. “Vivienne was the only 4-year-old who didn’t scream when she saw me,” Jolie said.
