Worst: Lena Dunham, we love you, we really do, but you need to fire your stylist. That tent isn't doing you any favors. Credit: Getty Images
Is "Girls" star and creator Lena Dunham about to be a Vogue cover girl? That's reportedly Anna Wintour's plan.
Vogue has always been obsessed with fashion and fashionable bodies — i.e. thin ones. And no one more than its editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. But rumor has it that the owner of the most fearsome bob in fashion knows the way the wind is blowing, and she thinks she needs Dunham and her young, hip fans in Vogue's corner — even if it means giving the cover to a size 8.
“Anna is trying to seduce Lena into bringing her next-generation audience into the Vogue brand,” a magazine insider tells Radar. “And she’s willing to violate a lot of Vogue traditions to do it, including putting her on the cover even though she doesn’t really conform to the body type that Vogue has featured for most of its history.”
How incredibly generous! I bet Lena is thrilled that Vogue is willing to put up with her hideousness. Every young girl dreams of Vogue gritting its teeth and reluctantly allowing her to appear in its pages.
