Julianna Margulies has been putting in some overtime hours trying to kill that long-standing rumor about a nasty rift between her and former “The Good Wife” co-star Archie Panjabi, telling Vulture that the whole idea was nonsense. “Right, I’ve heard about [the feud]. Who says that? It’s totally gossip,” Margulies says. “I feel people just like to have gossip or make something into something that isn’t there. There’s no animosity on my part.” RELATED:Of course Hillary Clinton is a fan of The Good Wife
Also, Margulies goes into detail denying the story that their weirdly shot final scene together — in which they were clear filmed separately and digitally combined later — was not due to any animosity. “It was shot the way Robert [King] wanted to shoot it, and the story line, too,” Margulies says. “[Panjabi] was also doing another show, called ‘The Fall.’ I went along with whatever Robert asked me to do and I did it happily.” RELATED:‘The Good Wife’ star Julianna Margulies is a wig evangelist One problem, though: Punjabi was more than happy to take to Twitter to shoot that assertion down: “[The Fall] was not even in production at the time and I was in New York ready to film the scene.”
