Bad news for Gladys Knight’s chicken and waffles shop

This can’t be good for her brand.

Singer Gladys Knight is facing something of a headache this week, as one Atlanta location of her Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant chain has failed a health inspection, scoring an unimpressive 56 out of 100. Last April the same location scored a 94.

So what’s the health department taking issue with, specifically? Oh, just some problems like a cooler with a missing door, heavy debris on the vents and ceilings and some issues with proper hand-washing. Just that. The location is due for another inspection within 10 days to see if management has addressed the issue, but this can’t be very pleasant for Knight.
