If you thought your Fourth of July would be ruined by the fact that Ben and Jen are STILL not back together, you can finally let out a sigh of relief because the gods are smiling on the world’s most brunette couple once again. That’s right: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have apparently put aside their irreconcilable differences of his cheating with their 20-something nanny and decided to give it another go just in time for the anniversary of their marriage and their separation! According to ET, sources tell them the couple is “making it work,” following a recent HBO interview in which Ben referred to Jen as “his wife.” However suspect his choice of words, legally, ET’s mysterious source points out, she’s technically still his wife “They still have not officially filed paperwork for a divorce,” the source says, even though the exes most definitely declared they were planning to divorce in their official statement last June. Quit playing games with our hearts Bennifer v. 2.0! The couple has yet to comment on the rumors, but here’s a photo of Jen smiling while walking down the street in L.A. the other day, so YOU KNOW what that means.
