The trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch's new movie has been released, and it looks eminently Oscar-worthy. British? World War II? Stiff upper lips? It's all here. Cumberbatch will be playing genius mathematician Alan Turing in "The Imitation Game," which looks like it will cover the time period when Turing and a group of other geniuses at Bletchley Park, the British code breaking headquarters, decoded the Nazi Enigma machine. It's unclear if the movie will go on to cover the rest of Turing's life, which had some ups and downs, to say the least. Go read the Wikipedia entry if you'd like, or wait and see what the movie does.
The point is, more Cumberbatch is coming your way! The movie comes out in the U.S. November 21, so prepare accordingly. No word yet on whether the movie resolves the mystery of how England produced cheekbones as flawless as what Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode are rocking.
