The creator of one beloved cult TV show is about to visit another — but in front of the camera this time. Vince Gilligan, creator of “Breaking Bad,” is set to guest star on “Community.”

The famed TV auteur will play a conniving gold-digger who causes tension between Abed (Danny Pudi) and Annie (Alison Brie), according to Entertainment Weekly. That’s all we know so far about the plot of the episode, which will begin shooting this week and air next year. But “Community” is known for its elaborate, episode-long parodies of other genres. Have they done an episode yet about taut, critically lauded crime serial prestige dramas?

Speaking of surprising “Breaking Bad” trivia, here’s a weird thing: Britney Spears is a huge “Breaking Bad” fan. However, after seeing the finale, she has a few notes for Gilligan et al. Spoilers ahead for the end of “Breaking Bad,” and for Britney’s opinion on it.

“I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t think [main character Walter White] should have died,” she told Z100. “Maybe they’ll do another episode where the ambulance, like, comes and revives him or something.” Uh… maybe.
