Britney Spears is heading to Las Vegas for a residency this fall, a la Celine Dion. And she talked to Shape about how she’s gearing up for it.
“I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio — hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez,” she tells Shape. “The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple — they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.” (Translation: No more Cheetos).
She also is apparently paid by Nutrisystem to shill their diet system in interviews. She tells Shape that she’s on the program (that’s the shake for breakfast and lunch and a “sensible” dinner for those of you keeping track at home).
I think what is remarkable about this cover isn’t her toned body — or the amazing Photoshop job from the art director — but that she still rocks a belly button ring. And a very glittery one at that. What is this, 1996?
