You can boo his latest film all you like, French folk, but he's going to just keep on livin'. Matthew McConaughey's latest work in director Gus Van Sant's "Sea of Trees" was greeted by not-very-friendly boos and jeering during its debut screenings at the Cannes Film Festival, which would totally bum out most stars. But McConaughey isn't most stars.
The chilled Texan is taking the bad reviews in stride. "I liked the experience of making it and I'm glad we got the opportunity to introduce it to the world," he said during the film's press conference. "Anyone has any right to either boo or ovate." All right, all right, all right?
