Amy Poehler has two words for the National Rifle Association: “f–k off.”

The actress is taking a stand against the NRA after the organization used of GIF of her “Parks and Recreation” character Leslie Knope in a tweet which thanked spokesperson Dana Loesch, who appeared at a CNN town hall on Wednesday night. The event featured a discussion on gun violence between law enforcement, Sen. Marco Rubio as well as many of the high school students who survived the recent deadly mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.

“Parks and Recreation” co-creator Michael Shur responded to the NRA’s tweet by asking the organization to take the GIF down. Since Poehler doesn’t have an official Twitter account, Shur also shared a text message he received from the Massachusetts native about her thoughts on the matter.

“I would prefer you not use a GIF from a show I worked on to promote your pro-slaughter agenda,” Shur wrote. “Also, Amy isn’t on Twitter, but she texted me a message: ‘Can you tweet the NRA for me and tell them I said f–k off?'”

Shur and Poehler weren’t the only “Parks and Recreation” stars who slammed the NRA over the tweet, as actors Nick Offerman and Adam Scott both shared their NSFW messages for the organization.
