In a funny case of not recognizing what, or who, is in front of you, a driver in Los Angeles snubbed one of Hollywood’s most promising actresses. Chrissy Metz was getting out of a black SUV in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, and told TMZ cameras that she read a line for her driver to get his opinion on her skills. But he wasn’t impressed with her performance. He told her “on that alone, you wouldn’t get nominated.” Obviously, the driver didn’t recognize Metz as Kate from the hit NBC drama, “This Is Us.” He’s also going to kick himself when he realizes that the 36-year-old just snagged her first Golden Globe nomination for the role. If the ride service sends the same driver to pick Metz up for the ride home, it’s going to be so awkward. Check out the video below.
