Ciara one-ups Beyonce with topless pregnant photoshoot

Beyonce set the world on fire last month with her majestic, Oshun goddess of fertility inspired shoot — and now Ciara has emerged with her own set of nudes baring her baby bump and more.

The 31-year-old R&B singer, who is expecting her first child with husband Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks quarterback and (prior) longtime virgin, posed for Harper’s Bazaar. She is keeping her due date a secret, though the writer estimates she’s seven months along.

The article accompanying the photos is all feel-good, self-empowerment vibes. Ciara gushes about her excitement for this time in her life, calling Wilson her “champion,” and spouting wisdom like, “Once you’re able to be really truthful with yourself, it’s life changing.” OK, Ciara.

Also appearing in some of the shots is Ciara’s two-and-a-half year son Future Zahir (father, the rapper Future), who, she says, is really excited about being a big brother.

We are not here to make any judgements about the pics, with one exception: the final image shows Ciara, prostrate, wrapped in plastic. Maybe it’s just because we’re crazed about the “Twin Peaks” revival, but… Laura Palmer vibes much?
