Courteney Cox’s engagement is off

Courteney Cox is reportedly in a state of shock after the sudden end of her engagement to and relationship with Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid, according to Radar Online. “Courteney is just blown out of the water by this. She’s really down in the dumps,” a source says. “Johnny was really the love of her life. She doesn’t know where this came from.”

Where it came from, according to the source, is McDaid wanting to get the focus back on his career and his reported discomfort at being her arm candy. “Johnny had a hard time dealing with her celebrity lifestyle,” the source explains. “He had enough of the scene and just wants to focus on his music.” Cox and McDaid started dating in late 2013 and were engaged in June 2014.
