Demi Lovato is single after six-year relationship

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have decided to give their hearts a break.

The “Cool for the Summer” singer, 23, and “That ‘70s Show” star, 36, announced on Instagram late Friday night that they’ve broken up. “After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” Lovato writes. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends.”

She signed the letter “with only love,” which pretty much sums up the pair’s relationship. Drama-free and happy, they often gushed about each other openly in interviews. There’s actually nothing snarky to say here, so in lieu of another lyrical pun, we’ll just wish them well.
