The latest to join their ranks? John Mayer, but not because of the euphoria that an overpriced spin class can give you. He was apparently on the hunt for a different kind of exercise.
Per an article in Star, the crooner kissed an instructor from the famed chain last year. A source told the magazine that the instructor and Mayer met at a bar in L.A. After a few drinks, he accompanied her back to her house for a party. “They kissed,” said a source. “It was very innocent. They didn’t sleep together.” “They texted for a few weeks before it fizzled out,” the insider added. “They haven’t seen each other since.”
However, apparently this didn’t cause Perry and Mayer to split, rather it was her insistence to get engaged. “That drove him away,” said the source. “He wasn’t ready.”
Are we sure the split wasn’t because of Perry’s recent lip lock with Miley Cyrus? Yup, pretty much. While visiting Australian talk show “Sunrise” this week, Perry recounted her close encounter with Miley Cyrus at the “Bangerz” singer’s concert in Los Angeles. “I just walked up to her to give her, like, a friendly, girly kiss. You know, as girls do,” Perry said. “And then she, like, tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away. God knows where that tongue has been.”
